coachAOG – 1 Million Views – 4000 Subscribers – I Am Humbled

coachAOG

Honestly speaking, I wasn’t a fan of YouTube about 8 years ago. But 1 Million Views – 4000 subscribers – I Am Humbled!

I n fact, I would go as far as to say that I hated that there was a ‘place’ where people could literally waste 6 hours of their daily lives watching some irrelevant content online. Now I said irrelevant then, little did I know that it would be this same despised tool I would then leverage as a platform to reach countless of people worldwide – beyond my own wildest dream.

Someone once said sometimes to me that, “ If you do not know about a thing, there is no need to assume or ridicule it. ” Having my own YouTube Channel with over 4000 Subscribers and close to 1 Million Views , a few years since launch is quite literally staggering. I owe it to you, reading this post right now.

Over the years there are many lessons I have learnt, especially using YouTube as a platform (consuming contents or sharing it). Here are a few I want to share with you;

  1. Don’t Assume A Thing Until You Know:

This is a Fact! As I have mentioned above, if you don’t know about a thing, there is a chance that you don’t know about it, Haha, so why assume. However, without shooting myself in the foot, in some certain scenarios you sure can assume. Perceiving the smell of food, you can assume the food tasting nice. A man dressed neat and nice, you can assume to a certain degree that he might be a nice gentleman. A lady not dragging her feet when she’s walking, you can assume she is probably an elegant and hardworking female. But all these assumptions are only to a certain degree.

For YouTube, (I mentioned that) I assumed based on the little information that I had. Which was, most people I had seen, use the platform to while their time away. So therefore, I assumed that was for those things that people use to forget their sorrows. This might be true, but it doesn’t have to be true if you know about some certain or  11 Forgotten Laws of The Universe . Amongst them is the  Law of Opposite,  which simply decree that, You cannot have one without the other. Everything has an opposite. Head or Tail of a Coin. Boy or Girl of a Child. Man or Woman of an Adult. Up or Down, Left or Right, Yes or No. If something can be used to waste time, there must be a valid way of how that same thing can be used to add value to ones’ time. Everything has an opposite.

On this note, I have learnt to always give anything new that I am exposed to a chance to grow. Let me gather enough information before I make my assumption or even conclusion for that matter. By doing so, who knew I would be writing a blog post inspired because I now have my own  YouTube Channel with over 4000 Subscribers and close to 1 Million Views . I could have deleted my account then.

Hahaha.

  1. If Anything Looks Wrong, It Must Be Right Too:

This is to expand on the Law of Opposite that I mentioned earlier and also touch on some other laws. Even Karl Marx came to a conclusion that, everything  contains two mutually incompatible and exclusive, but nevertheless equally essential and indispensable parts or aspects . From the very time I was exposed to this law, I was able to see the good in everything I do or am exposed to. This is the second lesson I have learnt over the years as I saw my  YouTube Channel  grow. Surely you will agree with me that it is no coincidence right? Because that really doesn’t exist anywhere – coincidence. If YouTube was or looked wrong to me then, it’s because there was an element of good in it.

Sir Isaac Newton (as a scientist) put it very well in his Third Law of Motion that “ for every action there is an equal re-action in the opposite side of that action “. And so many great leaders have said the same thing in years passed. For examples, a spiritual leader has said, “If you sow, you shall reap”. I might say, if you “Give and you shall receive”. Then you might say, “Everything you put into the Universe is what the Universe will give back to you.” Mixing and working with these two great laws, you will see that if anything looks wrong, with the natural Law of Opposite, it can also be right. In that same token, people using YouTube for whatever (or wrong) reasons can only get that same result back. But in my own case, I was able to see the right reasons for YouTube and put some good contents up on there and that is the reason by Third of Motion or The Law of Cause and Effect, I was able to use those contents and videos for good reasons to help  my YouTube Subscribers  and video watchers.

  1. Give Yourself A Chance To Grow:

This is a Fact! I really don’t need to spell it out now! It is whatever you give your energy that will grow. Henry Ford said, “ Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right. ” That is the true, you are always right. so give yourself a chance to try new things and a chance to grow.

If someone told me that, “I will have over 4000 Subscribers on my YouTube Channel”, I will suggest to the individual that “he or she is smoking something really illegal!” But well, the truth is, I did have more!
